Features — overview of brand workflow, themes and prototypes

An overview of Brand Peel's local-first brand workflow and creative tools, from strategy docs and themes to logos, prototypes, and generated images.

Brand Peel feels like five workspaces stitched together, you move from strategy to design system to prototypes to final images without swapping tools. Your projects live on device. Your account handles login, billing and quota, not cloud storage.

Brand Creator

This is where it starts: a streaming chat about product, audience, direction. The Brand Creator turns the conversation into three docs you can actually review:

  • Brand Identity
  • Visual Identity
  • Brand Guidelines

Edit directly, compare revisions, accept or toss changes, attach references, regenerate, flip between versions. Same workspace also spins up logo directions and a node-based variation builder.

Design Editor

Turn visual identity into a working light and dark theme. You get:

  • color, type, radius and shadow controls
  • built-in and your own saved presets
  • WCAG 2.2 contrast checks with one-click fixes
  • previews for components, text, palette, code and full system
  • theme import and CSS export

You see it once a project has a theme, or after any project finishes setup.

Design Sandbox

Use the current brand as context for quick prototypes, six targets:

  • websites
  • React Email
  • React PDF
  • React Native
  • Ink terminal UIs
  • React Three Fiber scenes

Chat to generate, edit the structure directly, inspect elements, compare revisions, preview, and export source for that target. Available as soon as a project exists, you don't have to finish docs first.

Resource Generator

Standalone images from a prompt, Nano Banana, Imagen 4 Ultra or Nano Banana Pro. Pick a resolution and ratio, generate, download or revisit later in the local library.

The generator does not automatically apply your brand documents or theme. Include any preferred colors or visual directions directly in the prompt.

History

Where projects and outputs finally sit together. You can:

  • open, rename, select and delete brand projects
  • browse project logos and standalone images
  • search by name, prompt, logo direction or text inside images
  • sort and filter
  • hide logos or delete for good

How the workflow connects

  1. Create or pick a project in Brand Creator.
  2. Shape the three docs through conversation.
  3. Pop into Design Sandbox whenever you want to test the brand on real surfaces.
  4. Pull a valid theme from the Visual Identity doc to unlock Design Editor, or just finish setup after accepting all three.
  5. Finishing setup marks the project complete locally and unlocks Resource Generator.
  6. History keeps projects, logos and images findable.
  7. Export in Brand Creator writes docs, theme and kept logos to a folder you choose.
Finishing setup only changes local status. Nothing gets published to a public service.
