Favicon & App Icon Kit: Prepare Browser and App Icons

Favicons are tiny but they carry a lot of recognition.
Favicons are tiny and unforgiving. An icon that looks sharp at 512 pixels can turn into unrecognizable blur at 16. Previewing every standard size locally ensures tabs, bookmarks, and mobile home screens stay legible.
They show up in tabs, bookmarks, home screens and install prompts. A mark that looks fine at 512 can turn to noise at 16.
The Favicon & App Icon Kit Generator builds small scale previews, individual PNG downloads, a site.webmanifest starter and HTML link tags, all locally. Nothing uploads.
Before you finalize, check icon colors against surfaces with the Dark Mode Token Checker, then capture the palette in the Design Token Starter Generator.
